How to make iced green tea in 3 minutesNormally, to make iced green tea you need to boil a liter of water for tea and wait a long time to cool before you can drink your freshly brewed iced tea. If you want something faster, an alternative is to do with instant iced tea powder. And, here's a recipe for real iced tea you can drink immediately, especially if you like green tea. This recipe takes about two minutes to prepare and another minute to serve, so you can enjoy it immediately.

Ingredients:

For 1 liter of cold green tea, you will need:
  • 800 ml fresh water from refrigerator or you may take a tap water.
  • 200 ml (7.76 fl oz) of hot water, boiled
  • 4-5 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 4 green tea bags, 3 light green tea and mint
  • Liquid sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fruit syrup or fruit juice (this is the secret ingredient, do not forget)
  • Cube of ice


Instructions how to make iced green tea
  1. Fill a pitcher with 800 ml / 27.05 fl oz of cold water.
  2. Fill a heat-proof container with hot water, recently boiled. Dipping one or two tea bag in the water, let it stand until you have a good strong cup of tea.
  3. Slowly pour the hot tea you have prepared in the pitcher.
  4. Repeat with the rest of the tea bags.
  5. Sweeten. After you've added all the tea, it is time to sweeten with sugar or syrup to taste
  6. Add 3 or 4 teaspoons lemon juice to tea.
  7. Add the iced tea, fruit syrup or fruit juice.
  8. Add ice cubes and allowed to cool about 1 minute. It's time to enjoy your home brewed iced green tea!

Recommendation


If you have liquid sugar, hot water combines with an equal amount of sugar. Bring to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Let it boil for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Use this mixture immediately to sweeten tea. Let cool and store the rest in the refrigerator. You can use it to sweeten any cold drink. 1 tablespoon of the syrup is slightly less sweet than sugar 1 tablespoon dry.
